This is a picture of my childhood home in Larchmont, NY. Might not look like much but I loved that place. What a town! You can see my bedroom window over the garage. As a youngster I spent hours and hours looking out my window watching the weather go by. You can learn so much by watching and observing. I recognized weather patterns as a kid that I learned formally in college many years later.
My passion for weather was so great my parents thought I was crazy. I've been riding that passion like a cowboy rides a horse my entire life. So off I went to Oklahoma where I earned my degree in Meteorology from the University of Oklahoma. Right smack in the middle of a tornado Alley! Never once considered a career in television. In fact just the opposite as I made fun of TV weathermen all the time. Then one day after graduation I took a job interview at a TV station in Lawton Oklahoma and my life changed forever.

Well all grown up now and currently a meteorologist at KFOR TV News Channel 4 Oklahoma City. I love my job and there is nothing better than doing what you love and making a living out of it. In my career I've done it all from Chief Meteorologist to morning guy to the weekend shift. I have spent nearly my entire career covering Oklahoma's weather and I am known for my expertise in forecasting and storm coverage. My experience through the years tracking historic blizzards, crippling ice storms, record heat waves and EF-5 tornadoes combined with my degree in meteorology from the University of Oklahoma makes me a weather expert!
I'm also an expert storm tracker. I've been chasing down storms since my college years and way before the movie twister! I've reported live with tornadoes on the move using live streaming video capabilities many times in my career. Here's just a couple screen grabs from recent storm chases.

Take a look at some of my on air work. I think my passion for weather shows, but the most important part of my job is to get the forecast right. I can't always get it right but I strive to predict the unpredictable and my experience and "knack" for the weather goes a long way. See you on TV or under the wall cloud....
